Does the size of the photo booth matter?

The larger the booth the more like a normal picture each frame of the photo strip will appear. The smaller compact booths normally only capture the shoulders up so the strips have a much different look. Be sure to compare photo strip samples so you can determine what style is right for you. The size of the booth needs to be considered against the floor space at your venue. Many restaurants and smaller function spaces may not allow or appreciate the bigger booths, so be sure to check.

I only want to be contacted by email, why do I need to enter my phone number on the enquiry form?
Adding your phone number will allow the photo booth hire operators to still contact you if you have a typo in your email address and it bounces or if they simply need to quickly clarify any details to give you the best price. We also confirm any awards or recognitions stated in their listing. The operators must agree and adhere to stringent Terms and Conditions. While we do our best to ensure only legitimate operators are listed on our site, we cannot guarantee each company’s operational standards or their claims. Any operators found to be in breach of the Terms and Conditions will be removed.

Yes. After your event we encourage you to review how well your chosen photo booth hire operator worked for your party or function. We encourage all users of the site to do this even for past events regardless of whether you used Photobooth Finder, as it’s invaluable information for future users.

Photobooth Finder has security measures in place to protect our site from spamming and misuse. If your subsequent enquiry is genuine, please try submitting it again the next day or wait for the photo booth hire operator to reply to your initial enquiry.

What do I do if something goes wrong with my photo booth hire?
You should notify the photo booth hire operator and give them the chance to rectify the problem. Most photo booth hire operators will want to try and fix any issues, as long as they know. If you're not satisfied with the handling of your problem you can take it up with your state’s Office of Fair Trading. Can I add Video to my listing?
If you have a "Featured Listing" you can add 1 x promo video to your listing. Please email your videos for manual upload to info@photoboothfinder.com.au. Once your featured listing has expired video's will be removed.

How does it all work?
Potential photo booth hirers use the custom Photobooth Finder search to find matches for the ideal photo booth in their area. They then view the company profiles of all the matches and select the ones from whom they want a quote and more information. They then complete an enquiry form with all the relevant details to receive a personalised quote and this enquiry lead is passed on to the photo booth hire operator.
Photo booth operators with credit on their accounts will receive the full lead immediately. Operators with no credit will receive a "locked enquiry" lead with basic information about the potential hire but no contact details. Operators can then choose to just buy that lead or purchase a credit pack. They will then be able to unlock any locked leads they have received and contact the enquirer.

With Photobooth Finder your business is always on show and able to be found within our photo booth hire directory. We also give you plenty of space to upload heaps of photos and information about your company so you can really show off what you're about. After the trial period credit is pre-purchased via your account. Simply login to your account to select the best credit pack for your needs. How long does it take for my listing to go live?
Listings will be reviewed by the Photobooth Finder team and approved before going live. We endeavour to do this within 48 hours but usually this happens the same day if done during business hours monday - friday.

Do you offer better rates per lead if I pre-pay enquiry leads?
Yes. Put simply, the more enquiry leads you pre-purchase, the cheaper the per lead price is. Enquiry leads start from just $3.30 each. For a full list of all the pricing options go to the account section of the members dashboard when logged in.

What's the difference between pay per lead and bulk lead credit packs?
Pay per lead is the premium pricing model which is offered to operators with no current credits. They are given a preview of the enquiry (less the contact information of the enquirer) and they can choose to pay the premium price or decline to purchase the lead at no expense.
Bulk lead packs are discounted and work out to be much cheaper per lead than the pay per lead pricing and the lead is automatically and instantly emailed to the operator to give them the jump on any other competitors that enquirer may have enquired with. No refunds are given on individual leads should the operator not be able to service that particular enquiry for any reason as they have already been given the enquirers full details. However we recommend adding these potential clients to your database for future marketing or offering them alternative dates as other ways for getting value.

What's the advantage of paying for leads in bulk?
The bulk lead packs are the best option for you if you are finding you are getting lots of enquiries via our service. There are two major benefits to this:- Get the lead automatically and therefore the jump on any competition- Save money per lead to increase your Return On InvestmentIn order for us to pass on the savings and the automation that comes with offering these bulk packs the functionality to choose one at a time is no longer there (ie you pay the premium price per lead for this functionality). You can still use the "decline" option from your dashboard to send an automated message telling the enquirer you are unavailable however we do not credit you back in this instance as you already have the clients details.For those leads you cant service we recommend you offer them alternative dates if you are unavailble and add them to your email database as they still may become a client one day or refer business to you if you treat the lead right.At the end of the day even if you cant do a couple of leads you still work out better off with our pay in bulk model. -
Do my credits expire?
No, your credits do not have an expiry date. They are valid for use for as long as it takes for your business to receive enough enquiries to use them up.

Do you offer automatic account top ups?
Yes, for credit card only. Just select the "Automatic Top Up" option during the check out process when placing an order. Your account will automatically be topped up again with the same credit deal you previously chose.

Can I improve my search ranking on Photobooth Finder?
Yes. Whilst your listing is free of charge you do have the possibility to ensure you are always found at the top of our regional search result by purchasing a "Featured Listing". Featured listings are limited to just 12 spots per region and you can check availability and costs by going to the "Featured Listing" tab within your account dashboard whilst logged in. All free listings are displayed randomly which changes on a weekly basis to give everyone a fair chance.

What if I choose not to purchase an enquiry you send me?
In the instance where you do not have credit and do not wish to purchase a lead for any reason you can simply decline that lead and Photobooth Finder will send a polite response back to the enquirer to let them know you are unable to help them. If you do not officially decline the lead or purchase it within 72hrs of receiving it Photobooth Finder will automatically send out a polite response on your behalf.
If you have credit then you will automatically receive the enquirers details and be expected to reply to them asap with a quote and availability. IIf you're unable to service the enquiry please still respond to the enquiry just like you would when you get an enquiry via your own website and can not service it. If you treat the lead right there is always the possibility of getting future business or referrals from them.

When I decline to contact an enquirer what do you tell them?
Here is the email we send them:
Dear "John Smith",
Thank you for using Photobooth Finder recently to make an enquiry with one or more of our photo booth operators. This is a courtesy notification to let you know "ABC Photobooths" appears to have chosen to decline the opportunity to quote you at this time.
There are many reasons why you might be receiving this notification:
1. The operator is fully booked for your chosen date and unable to service your enquiry.
2. The operator is unable to fulfill some of your requirements and is therefore unable to service your enquiry.
3. The operator has left your enquiry longer than 72hrs without officially notifying us they have or intend to respond to you.
If the operator has simply forgotten to advise us that they are going to respond to your enquiry then you may still receive a quote from them if not already in which case please disregard this courtesy notification.

I am part of a franchise, how do you cater for us?
Photobooth Finder gives the possibility for a franchise listing. Franchise listings allow for multiple sub-accounts all linked to a main account. Each sub-account will have its own logins. Each sub-account will receive its own leads based on its service areas.

How does the franchise listing work?
When you set up your brand’s first listing, that account will default as the franchise administrator. The administrator will have authority to edit the central listing. All subsequent franchisees will receive separate accounts which are linked to the central listing. These franchisee linked accounts will only be able to choose and modify their individual service areas and to access and control their own leads and accounts.

Can I change my Individual account to now be a Franchise account?

Don’t despair! Use the “forgot login” function on the login page.

What happens if I receive a duplicate or fake enquiry?
This is unlikely as there are measures in place to prevent this. Anyone found to be deliberately sending fake or multiple enquiries to the same operator for the same event will be blocked from the site. In most cases we will pick this up and automatically credit you back. If you do believe you have received a duplicate or fake enquiry please report this to us via the "Flag Enquiry" function so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
The "Flag Enquiry" function is available when you view the enquiry from within your dashboard after logging in.

What measures do you have in place to stop misuse of the site?
Aside from being part of the Terms and Conditions, Photobooth Finder has a number of automated and manual monitoring measures in place to stop and/or identify anyone misusing the site. Serious breaches will result in offenders being blocked from the site.
Any operator found to be misusing the site will have their account blocked from receiving future enquiries. Any account credit will be forfeited and an official Photobooth Finder review will be placed on their listing advising the operator has been blocked from receiving enquiries due to the misuse of the site.

What is your refund policy?
No refunds are given for any reason so please choose carefully before making a purchase. If you believe you have received a duplicate or spam lead please contact us and we will investigate. A credit will be given for any leads found to be illegitimate.
