Photobooth Finder's Vision

 For those of you that are familiar with Photobooth Finder you will understand we provide a photo booth directory which allows the public to find, compare and enquire with hundreds of photo booth hire/rental operators around Australia. That is certainly part of what we do, but it's not the whole picture:

Let's start with why Photobooth Finder was set up. It was set up for two main reasons:

1. Help the Public 

As far back as 2005 the first of the modern portable photo booths started to roll off the factory floors of Europe and America. With that a new industry was born, the Photo Booth Hire Industry. At first the choice of photo booths/photo booth operators was very limited but as the public caught on to how much fun and entertainment they provided for Weddings, Parties and Corporate Events so did the number of operators and new styles of photo booths were created as innovation drove change. 

Fast forward to today and around Australia we have somewhere between 800 - 1200 different photo booth hire operators. In the main capital cities (Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne) there is around 200 operators per city to choose from! This makes it particularly hard for the public to make an informed choice as every operator is different in terms of the quality of their photo booths and also the level of their customer service. 

Further complicating matters is the number of cheap photo booth operators some of whom are devaluing the industry by offering low quality products and services. Unfortunately it's a lose lose situation as the public are often deceived into believing that they are getting a quality product or service and the good operators are being forced to run their businesses often at a loss to compete.

So to help educate the public about how to find the right photo booth for them we have published a comprehensive amount of articles from our Photo Booth Hire Guide to loads of helpful tips, tricks and articles in our Blog. We also share this information through various other social media channels and partners to get the message out there into the public space as much as possible. 

Of course the main draw card for the public to our site is the ability to quickly and easily find, compare and enquire with our huge range of member operators. Our custom "Find a Photo Booth" search allows the public to be extremely specific and narrow down their search not just to a particular service region but also style of booth and budget. All this helps save the public time and money in their search for the perfect photo booth for them.

2. Help Photo Booth Operators

On the other side of the coin Photo Booth Operators are also having a hard time with the level of competition. Advertising channels like Adwords and SEO are all becoming more expensive as competition for the same keywords increases. The overwhelming majority of photo booth hire operators are run by couples as either a side gig to their full time jobs or as a highly flexible source of main income. Either way they simply do not have the turnover or budget for expensive low return marketing ventures. That's where we are here to help. Photobooth Finder is completely free for photo booth rental operators to list on. We take care of driving traffic to their listings and then when our users want to enquire with a member operator they pay a few dollars to receive the users enquiry. 

The result of working this way is that unlike other sources of marketing which have to be paid for upfront for results that aren't guaranteed we offer a service whereby we get results and then operators can choose to pay for them or not. This allows operators to better manage their cash flow and grow their businesses more effectively. 

Our Vision

By better educating the public through free to access materials like the Photo Booth Hire Guide and photo booth operators via our Operator Resources as well as being the driving force behind educational events like BoothCon we hope to raise the bar on this fledgling industry so that it may one day receive the recognition and longevity it deserves. We want all our member operators to be supported and benefit financially by having a cost effective service in which they can effectively market themselves and earn a living out of being a professional photo booth operator who by there very nature bring so much fun and joy every day people's weddings and events.
